Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dialysis Equipment Specialist to join our team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of dialysis machines and related medical equipment to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to troubleshoot equipment issues, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Develop and execute training programs for healthcare staff on proper usage and maintenance of dialysis equipment.

- Implement quality assurance protocols and contribute to the continuous improvement of equipment performance and patient safety.
- Assist in the procurement of new equipment and supplies, evaluating vendor options and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate degree in biomedical engineering, medical technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of dialysis equipment or similar medical devices.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems as they pertain to medical equipment.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff and provide exceptional customer service.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or a related field.
- Certification in biomedical equipment technology (CBET) or similar credential.
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and guidelines related to dialysis equipment.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in the operation and maintenance of dialysis machines, including but not limited to hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis systems.
- Familiarity with medical device software and diagnostic tools.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting for equipment performance metrics.
