Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Junior Dialysis Technician to join our innovative healthcare team. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering high-quality patient care by assisting with the preparation and maintenance of dialysis equipment, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup, monitoring, and maintenance of dialysis machines and related equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols.
- Support the healthcare team in preparing patients for dialysis treatments, including obtaining vital signs and performing pre-treatment assessments.
- Collaborate with senior technicians and nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Document patient information and treatment data accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your technical skills and knowledge of dialysis procedures.
- Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of dialysis procedures and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a dialysis unit.
- Certification or coursework in dialysis technology or related field.
