Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with medical device regulations, including ISO 13485 and FDA requirements
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and design processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Internship or co-op experience in the medical device industry
- Knowledge of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design purposes
- Experience with testing methodologies and data analysis tools
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with programming languages such as MATLAB or Python
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
