Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Cytology Manager to lead our cytology department at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Cytotechnology or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cytology, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of cytological techniques, laboratory processes, and quality control measures
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects while maintaining a positive and productive work environment
Preferred:
- Experience in a high-volume laboratory setting
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles or similar process improvement methodologies
- Advanced certification in cytopathology or additional relevant certifications
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in laboratory information systems (LIS) and electronic health records (EHR)
- Experience with advanced cytological techniques, including liquid-based cytology and molecular diagnostics
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting cytological results and implementing quality improvement processes
