Role Overview

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree in Laboratory Technology or a related field
- Certification as a Hematology Technician or equivalent by a recognized accrediting body
- 1+ years of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting, specifically in hematology
Preferred:
- Experience with automated hematology analyzers and related laboratory software
- Knowledge of laboratory safety regulations and quality assurance practices
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in the use of laboratory equipment, including microscopes, centrifuges, and analyzers
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and electronic health records (EHR)
- Strong understanding of hematological principles and procedures, including blood cell morphology
