Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Clinic Administrator to support the operational and administrative functions of our healthcare facility. This pivotal role will assist in managing clinic workflows, ensuring compliance with regulations, and enhancing patient experiences through superior service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Clinic Administrator, including scheduling meetings, managing communications, and maintaining clinic records.
- Assist in the development and implementation of clinic policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up processes to optimize clinic flow and enhance patient satisfaction.
- Manage inventory and supply orders, ensuring that the clinic is well-stocked with necessary medical and office supplies.
- Support billing and coding processes by ensuring accurate patient data and facilitating timely submissions.
- Assist in training and mentoring new staff members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a healthcare administrative role, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or business management.
- Experience with practice management software.
- Knowledge of medical billing and coding practices.
