Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Child Welfare Services to lead our dedicated team in providing exceptional care and support for children and families in need. This role is critical in shaping and implementing our child welfare programs, ensuring best practices, and advocating for the well-being of children across our community.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee comprehensive child welfare services that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in child welfare services, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of child welfare policies, practices, and legal frameworks.
- Proven track record of program development and implementation in a community service context.
- Strong analytical skills and experience utilizing data to drive program improvements.
Preferred:
- Experience working with diverse populations and understanding of cultural competencies in service delivery.
- Advanced certifications in child welfare or social work.
- Experience in grant writing and securing funding for child welfare initiatives.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in case management software and data analytics tools.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and their application in service delivery.
