Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child and Family Services Worker to join our team, focusing on empowering families and improving the well-being of children in our community. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of families to identify strengths, needs, and resources.

- Provide direct support and counseling to families, helping them navigate social services and access necessary resources.
- Advocate for the rights and needs of children and families in various settings, including schools, healthcare facilities, and community organizations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for families, including healthcare providers, educators, and legal representatives.
- Monitor and evaluate progress towards goals, adjusting service plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation and case records in compliance with agency standards and regulations.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience working with children and families in a social services setting.
- Strong understanding of child development, family dynamics, and community resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Experience with trauma-informed care and strength-based approaches.
- Familiarity with local child welfare policies and procedures.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in case management software and electronic health records (EHRs).
- Strong knowledge of data privacy and confidentiality regulations.
