Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and support a team of nursing assistants, ensuring the highest standard of patient care while fostering a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of nursing assistants, providing guidance on best practices in patient care and ensuring adherence to established protocols.
- Coordinate patient care activities, including assisting with daily living tasks, monitoring patient health, and communicating effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing assistants, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional care.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Stay updated on healthcare regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and improve patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant with at least 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in training or supervising a team of nursing staff.
- Strong knowledge of patient care standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with patients and team members.
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a specialized area of healthcare, such as geriatrics, pediatrics, or rehabilitation.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Previous experience working in a remote healthcare environment or telehealth.
