Role Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Lead Nursing Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating patient care activities, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of service. You will act as a mentor for other nursing assistants, fostering an environment of learning and growth while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of nursing assistants, providing guidance and support in delivering exceptional patient care.
- Coordinate patient care activities and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Conduct regular assessments of patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Facilitate training and development opportunities for nursing staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing assistants, providing constructive feedback and performance assessments.
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication and addressing concerns promptly.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and 3+ years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising or mentoring staff.
- Strong understanding of patient care regulations, protocols, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
Preferred:
- Experience in a remote working environment.
- Additional certifications in healthcare management or specialty areas.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other patient management software.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with telehealth technologies and remote patient monitoring systems.
