Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Nurse Aide to join our innovative healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of nursing aides, providing guidance and support to enhance professional development
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for patients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans that address individual needs and promote wellbeing
- Conduct regular assessments of patient needs and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal care delivery
- Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers to promote understanding and participation in care decisions
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing aides, providing constructive feedback and conducting performance reviews
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Valid Nursing Aide certification from an accredited program
- 3+ years of experience in a nursing aide role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity
- Strong knowledge of nursing aide practices, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families
Preferred:
- Experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in using EHR systems for documentation and patient care management
- Ability to utilize healthcare software for scheduling and communication
- Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols
