- Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams to review imaging results and discuss findings
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all procedures performed and patient interactions
- Continuously develop your skills through training and mentorship opportunities
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree or equivalent in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Basic knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy and physiology
- Ability to perform under supervision and follow established protocols and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
Preferred:
- Previous clinical experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in ultrasound or related fields
- Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with ultrasound equipment and imaging software
- Understanding of echocardiography and Doppler ultrasound techniques
- Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols in a clinical environment
