Role Overview
As a Calibration Engineer at [$COMPANY_NAME], you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision and accuracy of our measurement and control systems. Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify calibration needs and establish best practices for equipment usage and maintenance.
- Maintain detailed records of calibration activities and generate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct investigations into calibration discrepancies and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on calibration methodologies and best practices.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in calibration engineering or a similar role, with a strong understanding of measurement principles.
- Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with calibration standards such as ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Experience with automated calibration systems and software.
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) methodologies.
- Certification as a Calibration Technician (such as from the American Society for Quality or equivalent).
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in the use of calibration equipment and software tools.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis and statistical software.
- Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, and thermal calibration techniques.
