Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Lead Certified Nursing Assistant to oversee and enhance our patient care quality. In this fully remote role, you will play a critical role in coordinating care teams, mentoring junior nursing assistants, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Your leadership will directly impact the well-being of patients and the effectiveness of our care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to best practices
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and competencies of nursing assistants
- Monitor patient care plans and outcomes, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet patient needs
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery and effective communication
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, conducting regular audits and performance evaluations
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, addressing concerns and improving patient satisfaction
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant
- 3+ years of experience in a nursing assistant role, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory position
- Strong knowledge of patient care practices and healthcare regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
Preferred:
- Experience in a remote healthcare environment
- Certification in healthcare management or leadership training
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in EHR systems and patient management software
- Strong understanding of telehealth technologies and virtual patient care practices
- Ability to leverage data analytics to assess patient outcomes and improve care delivery
