Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Regional Body Shop Manager to oversee and enhance the operational effectiveness of our body shop locations across the region. In this role, you will be responsible for driving performance, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and fostering a culture of excellence within our teams. You will work closely with various stakeholders to optimize processes, implement best practices, and meet our organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the operational activities of multiple body shop locations, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and standards.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiencies, increase productivity, and drive profitability.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to identify trends, assess performance, and implement necessary improvements.
- Foster a customer-centric culture by ensuring exceptional service delivery and addressing customer concerns promptly and effectively.
- Recruit, train, and mentor body shop personnel, promoting professional development and a cohesive team environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, and marketing, to support business objectives and drive growth.
- Manage budgets and financial performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in automotive body shop management or related fields, demonstrating a track record of success in driving operational performance.
- Strong understanding of body shop processes, repair techniques, and industry standards.
- Proven experience in managing teams and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of automotive software systems and tools to streamline operations.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in automotive repair methodologies and technologies.
- Experience with operational management software and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
