Role Overview
We are seeking a Lead Behavioral Health Technician to oversee and enhance the delivery of behavioral health services. In this pivotal role, you will provide guidance and support to a team of technicians, ensuring the highest quality of care for our clients while implementing evidence-based practices to foster positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of behavioral health technicians, promoting professional development and adherence to best practices.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring alignment with clients' needs and goals.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor clients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and therapeutic activities, fostering a supportive and engaging environment.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Serve as a liaison between clients, families, and healthcare providers, advocating for clients' needs and ensuring continuity of care.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree in Behavioral Health, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a behavioral health setting, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention techniques.
- Certification as a Behavioral Health Technician or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Knowledge of community resources and support services for behavioral health.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in using EHR systems for documentation and client management.
- Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.
- Ability to analyze data related to client outcomes and program effectiveness.
