Role Overview
We are seeking a Lead Bankruptcy Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and filing of bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and related documents in accordance with federal and state laws.

- Act as a liaison between clients, attorneys, and court personnel, ensuring clear and timely communication throughout the bankruptcy process.
- Assist attorneys in the development of case strategies and participate in client meetings to gather relevant information.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior paralegals, fostering a culture of excellence and development within the team.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience as a paralegal, with a strong focus on bankruptcy law.
- Solid understanding of bankruptcy procedures, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 filings.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with a proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Paralegal certification from an accredited program.
- Experience with bankruptcy software and case management systems.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role within a legal setting.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
- Experience with document management systems and e-filing technologies.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel, for document creation and data management.
