Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled ASIC Verification Manager to lead our verification team in developing state-of-the-art ASIC products. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the verification strategy, methodologies, and execution while fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the team, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement comprehensive verification strategies for ASIC designs, ensuring coverage goals are met or exceeded.
- Manage and mentor a team of verification engineers, providing guidance on best practices and fostering professional growth.
- Collaborate closely with design and architecture teams to ensure alignment on verification requirements and methodologies.
- Oversee the development and execution of directed and random test cases, ensuring rigorous validation of design specifications.
- Utilize industry-standard tools and frameworks to streamline verification processes and improve productivity.
- Conduct thorough reviews of verification plans, results, and reports, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 8+ years of experience in ASIC verification, with a proven track record in managing verification teams.
- Deep understanding of verification methodologies such as UVM, SystemVerilog, and functional coverage metrics.
- Experience with RTL design and simulation tools, including Synopsys VCS, Cadence Xcelium, or Mentor Graphics ModelSim.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex design issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to liaise with cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- Experience with formal verification and static analysis tools.
- Familiarity with low-power design techniques and associated verification challenges.
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM for ASIC verification.
- Hands-on experience with various simulation and verification tools.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Perl to enhance automation in verification processes.
