Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and compassionate Director of Addiction Services to lead our innovative treatment programs and initiatives. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing comprehensive addiction treatment services that align with our mission to support individuals on their recovery journey. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based practices and ensure the highest quality of care for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for addiction services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based treatment programs that effectively address substance use disorders
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and access
- Supervise and mentor clinical staff, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimize service delivery and operational efficiency
- Lead efforts in data collection and analysis to drive program improvements and demonstrate impact
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in addiction services or behavioral health, with a track record of successful program development and management
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in addiction treatment and recovery
- Experience in leadership roles, with proven ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Licensure as a clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed professional counselor (LPC), or similar credentials
- Experience working with diverse populations and understanding of cultural competency in service delivery
- Familiarity with community resources and systems of care related to addiction services
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and data management software
- Understanding of data analytics tools for program evaluation and reporting
- Knowledge of telehealth platforms and their application in addiction treatment services
