About YosysHQ
YosysHQ is the organization maintaining Yosys and related Open Source EDA projects. We are a team of around 10-12 people focused on two main areas: synthesis and formal verification. Our tools power everything from academic research to professional commercial products, making electronic design automation accessible to hobbyists, researchers, and industry professionals alike.
We maintain a comprehensive ecosystem of open source EDA tools including Yosys (our flagship RTL synthesis framework), nextpnr (portable FPGA place and route), Project Icestorm, Project Trellis, Project Apicula, and various verification tools like SymbiYosys (sby) for formal property checking. We also offer commercial products including the Tabby CAD Suite which bundles our tools with proprietary third-party components for seamless integration in industrial digital design environments.
Beyond our software offerings, we provide custom development services, developer support and training, collaborative research and development projects, and custom formal verification IPs. We welcome partnerships with academia and industry to advance the open source EDA ecosystem.
