We are currently looking for the Warehouse Specialist

Warehouse Operations Responsibilities

Packaging Operations

  • Accurately pack goods into boxes based on product specifications and customer requirements.

  • Select suitable packaging materials (e.g., bubble wrap, foam, filler) to protect items during transit.

  • Seal, label, and mark packages clearly and correctly for shipment.

Palletizing and Wrapping

  • Stack goods on pallets following proper weight distribution and stability guidelines.

  • Secure pallet loads using stretch wrap, straps, or banding tools.

  • Ensure all palletized shipments meet transport height and weight regulations.

Material Handling

  • Transport packaged boxes and palletized goods to designated storage or staging areas using manual or powered equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift).

  • Support truck loading and unloading processes as needed.

Inspection and Quality Assurance

  • Review outgoing packages for damage, mislabeling, or packing errors before shipping.

  • Promptly report damaged goods or packaging issues to supervisors.

Inventory Support

  • Participate in regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.

  • Track packaging material usage and report low stock levels to warehouse management.

Documentation and System Updates

  • Maintain accurate records of packaging tasks, including packing slips and shipment logs.

  • Use warehouse systems or handheld scanners to confirm packaging and shipping activities.

Workplace Safety and Compliance

  • Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and procedures.

  • Properly wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Keep the packaging area clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate with warehouse staff, shipping teams, and supervisors to manage packaging schedules.

  • Support team members with packaging tasks during busy periods or staff shortages.

Languages

  • Ukrainian
  • Russian
  • English (optionally)
  • German (optionally)

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Forklift license or relevant warehouse certification preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 years of experience in warehouse operations, particularly in packaging and palletizing.
  • Experience using standard warehouse tools and equipment.

Technical Skills

  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking tools.
  • Ability to read and follow packing instructions and shipping labels.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 kg regularly.
  • Capable of standing, bending, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Able to work in varying warehouse conditions.

Soft Skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including weekends or overtime if necessary.
