Job Summary

The Business Analyst - Ground will support different initiatives across the enterprise to identify opportunities that drive business and operational efficiencies, designs, plans, executes process changes, and embeds the new processes and procedures into the WFS Passenger Service organization for long term sustainability. You will work across finance, operational, and commercial partners to build models for forecasting for the future, understanding variances to plan, and identifying key drivers to improve business and operational results. This is an analytical role that also requires strong stakeholder management and influencing across teams within a matrixed organization. This role will report to the VP Product and Application Development and will work to support the Ground Service division and other functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Deep dive data to understand drivers of business and operational performance.
• Build models to forecast future performance and provide input to key business planning cycles.
• Influence goal setting and targets for teams across the entire Ground Service organization.
• Develop new metrics/ KPIs to identify areas of opportunity and ways to drive improvement.
• Understand variances to plan and create actionable bridges to address.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance, and profitability.
• Design and improve reporting and tracking mechanisms with a focus on Microsoft PowerBI
• Engage with stakeholders across commercial, operations, and finance teams to socialize findings and recommendations.

Minimum Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience in, project management, engineering, operations, or related field
• 3+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience.
• Knowledge of change management and influential factors.
• Excellent oral, written and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as in different (local) teams.
• Must be able to work under high demand and pressure.
• Strong excel skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to work with tight deadlines

• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
• High attention to detail with excellent analytic and research skills.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

• Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
• Walk short distances.
• Reach above and/or below shoulder.
• Handle/grasp documents or office equipment.
• Sit and/or stand for short or extended periods of time.
• Lift/carry/move objects, files and documents up to 10 pounds.
• Work in an office environment using standard office equipment.
• Talk, listen, and speak clearly on telephone.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
