About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Account Manager to join our Amazon team at Wellmore, where you will oversee our two esteemed protein brands – Vega and Great Lakes Wellness. Reporting to the Strategic Account Manager, Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in tracking, recording, and reporting on Amazon advertising metrics, while executing promotional strategies that align with our company's broader objectives. Your daily responsibilities will include managing and enhancing our presence on Amazon, identifying product trends, and leveraging competitor and category research to drive product assortment growth. Collaboration will be key in this role, as you will work closely with our eCommerce team, as well as cross-functionally with Marketing, Logistics and our agency creative partner, to ensure a top-tier consumer experience on Amazon.

What You’ll Do

  • Implement, track, record, and report advertising performance metrics weekly and monthly.
  • Work directly with software tools and agencies to optimize advertising performance. Identify spend efficiencies and areas of growth, always working towards outperforming the goals of each brand.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and optimize the current advertising funnel at Amazon while developing a more effective strategy.
  • Work with internal and external teams to determine the proper advertising split strategy by tactic for each brand.
  • Work with internal and external teams to optimize and enhance current processes in line with company goals and cost saving initiatives.
  • Execute promotional strategies in alignment with Advertising Plan, and company goals.
  • Implement inventory management process to monitor stock levels to prevent item out-of-stocks, including creating shipping plans, seasonal forecasting, and inventory planning.
  • Manage and provide on-going improvements and optimizations of product names, variations, copy, images, search terms and attributes on Amazon.
  • Create new item detail pages as new items are added.
  • Identifying products trends by monitoring product reviews, feedback ratings and consumer questions for Wellmore products. Share and implement learnings across the team.
  • Monitor for third party resellers and assist with identifying unauthorized sellers.
  • Identify opportunities for product assortment growth through competitor and category research: Competitive audit for high volume search terms to estimate market size and share of voice.
  • Research best in class digital marketing practices and raise opportunities, staying on top of the ever-changing space.
  • Monitor competitors spend, tactics and SOV. Act accordingly to maintain market share.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising or related
  • 4+ years’ experience in Amazon Advertising experience (Vendor and/or Seller Central) required
  • CPG Industry experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Amazon trends, Digital Marketing best practices and industry standard
  • Adept at understanding technology and IT/Operations/Logistics integrations
  • Sales and target focused with a high degree of initiative and self–motivation
  • Solid understanding of current SEO best practices and implementation
  • Understanding of the importance of branding and functions within the Marketing Department
  • Enthusiasm for the latest web trends and technologies including advancements in Amazon advertising including TV, DSP etc.
  • Strong analytical skills – ability to report concisely and review results to optimize all efforts
  • Experience with market data tools such as Stackline or JungleScout
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and superior ability to prepare and present performance data
  • Proven ability to work in a deadline driven and fast paced environment, while maintaining accuracy
  • Sales and target focused with a high degree of initiative and self–motivation
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills as well as the ability to multitask among a multitude of projects and responsibilities
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to take on a high level of responsibility
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
