Wifinity was founded in 2007 to solve a problem—our armed forces were struggling with reliable connectivity. While living in barracks, often in remote locations, ordering a landline and booking in an engineer just wasn’t an option.

And that problem isn’t exclusive to the military, either. Students living in University accommodation, families visiting holiday resorts, or living in shared accommodation and retirement communities.

Conventional home broadband doesn’t always work for them.

Wifinity is different. We offer the same benefits as traditional broadband, such as super-fast speeds, WiFi, and secure and private networks, but none of the downsides. We even offer Pay As You Go and flexible contracts, so customers only pay for what they need without hefty penalties or long contract terms.

The role purpose​​

Our marketing team is looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our team as an intern for summer 2024. We are looking forward to welcoming a talented individual with a passion for a future career in consumer marketing. We have several new products launching together, and we are keen to get fresh ideas and open new channels to market as we promote these services. Join us!

Key Responsibilities ​

Your day-to-day role will consist of the following responsibilities, you may be required to carry out further responsibilities at the company's discretion:

• ​Assist in the creation and implementation of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and website.
• Marketing team collaboration to build engaging digital content including videos; social media posts; emails; display ads; online forum seeding; competitions and more.
• Campaign execution and optimisation.
• Aid in the management of our social media accounts and partnerships to promote Wifinity products, including content scheduling, engagement, and community management.
• Help in the creation and optimisation of our paid social campaigns including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, X, Spotify and Snapchat.
• Provide general administrative support​

About you…​

You will be a talented self-starter with a strong passion for marketing and a desire to forge a successful career in this dynamic field. As a valuable member of our team, you will have the opportunity to leverage your real-life experience and skills within our fast-paced and rapidly expanding company. Collaborating with a diverse and talented team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing impactful B2C campaigns across various regions in the UK.

Your experience:

• ​You are currently studying or recently graduated with a Marketing, Communications, Advertising or Digital Media degree.
• You want a future career in digital marketing and are keen to show what you can do.
• You have got great written and verbal communication skills.
• You are creative, have great attention to detail and organisational skills.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). It is a benefit if you can use Adobe; Canva; social media platforms; Google Ads Manager; Google Analytics
• Potential for future career opportunities within the company based on performance and passion.

• Recent graduate of a Marketing, Communications, Advertising or Digital Media course
