About the Team/Role

WEX Inc is looking for a Manager, Website marketing to support the strategy of our omni-channel demand generation engine. Your mission will be to oversee several websites to increase sales by accelerating conversion on websites and landing pages through aggressive a/b testing and effective UX strategy, and increasing traffic through web content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks and analyzing data to understand outcomes and next best actions. It is an excellent opportunity to take full ownership and responsibility for Conversion Rate Optimization and SEO, playing a huge role in driving the business forward by increasing sales.

How you'll make an impact

  • Develop CRO testing strategies, with consideration of overall campaign strategies and source channels

  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, and identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI.

  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics

  • Optimize copy and landing pages

  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization

  • Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations

  • Research and analyze competitor advertising links

  • Develop and implement a link-building strategy

  • Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented

  • Work with content marketing team to drive SEO in content creation

  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keyword

Experience you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, marketing or related field

  • 3+ years people management experience

  • 5+ years in digital marketing

  • Experience with CRO and SEO

  • Proven SEO experience

  • Experience with Wordpress

  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition

  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)

  • Good understanding of UX practices

  • Experience with Google Tag Manager

  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments, as well as A/B testing tools such as Optimizely and Monetate

  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms

  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and CRO

  • BA in Marketing or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years of experience with Digital campaign architecture and execution

  • 3+ years website strategy and management

  • Portfolio demonstrating strong proficiency in lead generation and customer engagement through digital marketing, including analytics, campaign planning, content development, and user experience design

  • Proficiency in a variety of marketing technology platforms tools such as SFDC Marketing Cloud, Adobe Marketing Cloud, DV360, GA4

  • Cognizant of web design, emerging technologies, and UI frameworks and have the ability to identify the advantages/disadvantages of approaches.

  • Experience leading cross functional teams to achieve growth objectives

  • Ability to present and defend campaign and UI designs and solutions to various stakeholders.

  • Must have the ability to accurately estimate future and remaining work effort, and meet aggressive schedules.

  • Successfully pass a background investigation

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
