Product: We develop our learning tools using human-centered design principles. We work with grade-level experts to ensure our curriculum is developmentally appropriate and engaging at all levels. Every Wayfinder lesson is supported by relevant research, prototyped in classrooms, and vetted by teachers over rounds of feedback and iteration. We use Universal Design for Learning principles to give every student an equal opportunity to succeed.

School Partners: We intentionally target a wide array of educational partners, from traditional to non-traditional, that work with a range of students from different socioeconomic groups. The Role

The Senior District Implementation Manager will work closely with an Account Manager on a portfolio of districts to support partners in driving successful implementation of Wayfinder.

Responsibilities

Implementation Strategy for District Partners

  • Provide support to district level teams, including implementation strategy, best practices, and thought partnership to drive product usage and fidelity
  • Provide support to site-based teams to lead successful implementation at the school level
  • Coach site based teams on best practices in supporting educator buy-in, product adoption, efficacy, and continuous improvement
  • Meet regularly with Account Managers to identify barriers to product usage and implementation fidelity and deploy appropriate interventions at the district and site level

Professional Learning

  • Lead and/or co-lead school introductory trainings (virtual and in-person) and supplemental professional learning opportunities
  • Lead and/or co-lead (virtual and in-person) Adult SEL sessions to strengthen educator social-emotional competencies
  • Support in the design and development of customized training content and materials for district partners

Communications + Outreach

  • Participate in stakeholder information events such as family engagement sessions and committee presentations
  • Contribute to content creation such as Wayfinder blogs and articles in education publications
  • Participates in the creation of promotional and content-based videos through on-camera activities such as script reading, storytelling, and interviews

Sales Support

  • Support lead generation through facilitating in-person workshops, virtual webinars, and various speaking engagements

Requirements

Below we have listed out some things we are looking for; you do not necessarily need to check all these boxes to be eligible for this position. Here are some components we think that includes:

  • Two years in a role working with multiple customers/clients, managing many competing priorities. This person needs to have the drive and enthusiasm to effectively manage relationships with a portfolio of schools by proactively communicating, skillfully strategizing, and efficiently troubleshooting.
  • Previous EdTech experience is a plus, however equivalent school district experience would suffice
  • Background in K-12 Education: Experience as a school or district administrator leading change management or new product/program adoption efforts. High school level experience is a plus.
  • Excellent Facilitator: Experience delivering professional learning to educators in a virtual or in-person setting.
  • Self-Motivated: This role is given a high level of autonomy and must be self-directed
  • Organized: You are going to be talking to hundreds of people from dozens of organizations.
  • Good Relationship Builder: The ability to make connections and build relationships quickly.
  • Bilingual and able to read, write and speak Spanish proficiently (Preferred)
  • Due to the nature of this role, travel is required and frequent. Candidate must be based on the West Coast (CA, OR, WA)

This role is benchmarked at $90,000 - $120,000. Salary is dependent on location & experience.

  • This role is remote. But, due to the nature of this role, travel is required and frequent. Candidate must be based on the West Coast (CA, OR, WA)

Wayfinder compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Wayfinder’s total compensation package. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
