Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Producer to lead our photography and video production efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a talented team of line producers and managing all aspects of physical photo and video production, from large-scale location shoots involving celebrity talent to smaller, studio-based productions focusing on lifestyle imagery and product photography.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of line producers to execute high-quality photo and video productions.
- Organize and oversee large-scale location shoots, including coordination with celebrity talent and ensuring compliance with all legal and safety requirements.
- Manage smaller studio productions, focusing on both lifestyle imagery and detailed product photography.
- Drive the transition to an outsourcing model, prioritizing the reduction of risk and overhead costs while maintaining production quality and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Forecast project needs, including budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation to meet production demands.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align production goals with broader company objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements, applying best practices to all production activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior production role within creative agencies or advertising production environments.
- Demonstrable experience in leading production teams and managing large-scale photo and video shoots.
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities, including scheduling and forecasting.
- Knowledge of current production technology and equipment.
- Ability to work remotely and travel frequently to production sites, including Boston and other locations.
- Professional experience working with celebrity talent is highly desirable.
