Our Clinical Pharmacists then engage directly with members to build trust and develop tailored care plans. Through the Walrus mobile app, members gain access to:
- On-demand chat with licensed pharmacists
- Tailored health polls based on their conditions
- Real-time symptom and side-effect tracking
- AI-identified prompts activated by members
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other Walrus team members on clinical and strategic initiatives.
- Participate in client and prospect calls as needed.
- Provide clinical coverage outside of standard business hours when required.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent advanced degree
- Active pharmacist license in good standing in Illinois and at least one additional U.S. state.
- Must reside and be authorized to work in a U.S. state.
- Completion of an accredited residency program (PGY-1 or PGY-2)
- 2+ years experience working directly with patients and healthcare providers..
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make sound judgments.
- Possess strong verbal, listening and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers, including familiarity with databases and reporting tools.
- In-depth knowledge of drug administration and disease state management.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, direct patient care.
- Comfortable working in a remote environment and willing to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Multi-state pharmacist licensure
- Experience working in digital health with virtual care platforms.
- Board Certification in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy (BCACP) or equivalent certification.
