Why this role matters

The Global Carrier team is responsible for driving the revenue and margin growth of the International Messaging and voice business. The team supports one of the fastest-growing CPaaS companies in the market, directly managing our OTT and wholesale customer base while working closely with our Carrier and Enterprise sales teams to develop and implement regional strategy plans.

As a high-growth team, expansion is needed to ensure continued success. We are seeking to recruit an experienced Supplier Relations Manager to join the team in North America. This person will ensure we have the best network connectivity to drive our customers’ success. This hands-on role enables Vonage to deliver the high levels of quality and breadth of service our customers expect.

What you'll do

  • Create, own, and lead the strategy and plan for the North American market to ensure Vonage has the best connectivity products and services to meet our customer's needs
  • Collaborate with the local sales, operations and product teams to fully understand the market requirements
  • Monitor the performance of the suppliers with respect of quality and costs to meet the company’s targets and objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure requests from customers and the business are processed and delivered end-to-end
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key supplier partners
  • Provide effective communication around team KPIs and performance both upwards to the Senior Leadership Team and to the wider organization
  • Define customer support standards with partners, including a robust escalation process
  • Be the go-to person for your markets

What you'll bring

  • Strong technical, commercial and operational understanding of Messaging products
  • Confident to communicate at all levels, including as at local conferences on behalf of Vonage
  • Strong local knowledge of how the market is regulated, operated and managed
  • Experience working with Carriers in North America
