We are looking for a Solution Manager within Vix to own responsibility for customer focused solutions definition by leveraging Vix products and services as well as partner offerings, engaging with the market to understand customer requirements and identify technologies and products that can be combined with Vix's offerings to deliver the best solution. To be successful in this position, you'll need strong technical and domain knowledge, along with a commercial mindset, to define robust solutions. The ultimate goal is to provide customers with industry-leading solutions in transit fare collection and intelligent transport systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Thought leadership within Vix customers on intelligent transport systems and automated fare collection systems
- Achieving a thorough understanding of the technologies available to implement the required solutions
- Engaging with and influencing key customers and prospects to align with Vix strategy and solutions
- Ensuring clear understanding of competitors’ strategies and of Vix differentiation in the market
- Defining compelling solutions to customers and prospects needs
- Working with chosen partners to optimise the value Vix brings and that of the whole solution
- Solutions leadership during bidding processes to ensure optimised proposal
- Ensure bids are sufficiently defined, designed and understood that Vix and partner teams can successfully deliver winning bids
- Documenting the agreed solution architecture(s)
- Influencing customers to align requirements with Vix solutions and capability
- Provide a mechanism for our customers to explore options for satisfying their business needs using Vix technology and managing customer expectations through this process.
- Ensuring alignment with product management, architecture and engineering throughout customer engagements
