Viability

Viability is a not-for-profit human services organization dedicated to building a world in which individuals with disabilities and other disadvantages realize acceptance, inclusion, and access. Founded in 2017 through the merger of Community Enterprises, Inc. and Human Resources Unlimited, Inc., Viability serves more than 4,900 individuals across five states including Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, and Oklahoma. The organization's network of services and programs connects participants' choices, strengths, and goals with skill-building, employment options, and community living opportunities.

At Viability, everyone is treated with inherent dignity to be honored, creating a community where participants, family members, employers, and neighbors all play vital roles. The organization provides comprehensive training and job support services that enable job seekers to secure and retain work on their path to economic stability. Viability also serves as a proven partner and consultant for employers, offering employee screening, placement, training, and workplace solutions. The organization values professional growth, with 61% of promotions coming from within and last year 30 staff members were promoted to roles supporting their career development.
