Position overview:

We are seeking a Sales Operations and Business Analyst to join our sales organization . In this role you will report to the Vice President of Sales and be responsible for sales process optimization, forecasting, data analysis and reporting, territory design and sales technology including Salesforce. You will partner closely with the field and channel sales team to establish and monitor goals and KPI,s and ensure data integrity in all sales systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide user support and problem resolution for Salesforce users, assist in implementation processes, e.g. data import/export/updates, data migration, system customization, reports and dashboard creation, implementation of workflow and validation rules, template creation, etc
  • Develop readable reports that include sales trend analysis, sales performance analysis, product sales analysis, and prescriptive analysis. Put the information into a presentable format and share it with the VP of Sales and ELT.
  • In partnership with Sales Enablement, achieve sales excellence and drive continuous improvement: maintain OKRs, KPIs, and identify interventions and propose solutions.
  • Compile quarterly commission reporting for leadership review & plan effectiveness assessment.
  • Perform workflow analysis and document process based on business development decisions.
  • Champion change management and drive a customer-centric culture.
  • Track data to measure defects and make recommendations for operational efficiencies and process enhancements, including automation, recommending software and Salesforce upgrades and changes.
  • Drive adoption and usage of Salesforce by:
    • Owning the user experience and ensuring ease of access for sellers of all levels
    • Training sales teams on the capabilities and use cases of the platform
    • Troubleshooting technical issues
    • Providing detailed usage reports on a regular cadence Analyzing what’s working and what’s not to build strategic recommendations for improvement
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Salesforce.com Admin certification required, Business Analyst certification a plus
  • Experienced with lightning flows required
  • Experience with CPQ is a plus
  • 2+ years of Salesforce Admin experience
  • 2+ years of experience in an analytical role OR 2+ years in a sales or revenue operations role
  • Experience managing change and training end-users
  • Growth mindset and desire for continuous learning: stay at the forefront of forecasting strategies, Salesforce and CRM expertise.
  • Intrinsic desire to help other people grow and succeed.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • BA/BS, specifically in Business Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Experience in automating and consolidating business critical reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in a variety of tools i.e. with SAP, PowerBI, MS Office, Tableau, etc preferred · Experience with Outreach, Seamless.ai, Hubspot preferred
  • Experience in conducting gap analysis on existing processes and potential alternatives
