Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) located in Latin America to help us generate revenue opportunities by setting meetings through outbound prospecting and lead follow-up. This role requires persistence, creativity, and strong communication skills to engage prospects and drive pipeline growth.
Responsibilities:
Identify and research potential clients through various channels (social media, networking events, industry publications).
Utilize CRM tools to track and manage leads.
Initiate contact with prospective clients via cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach.
Develop and maintain relationships with prospects to understand their needs and challenges.
Assess the potential of leads by conducting needs analysis and understanding their business objectives.
Schedule meetings and demos for senior sales representatives with qualified leads.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Gather feedback from prospects and clients to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and share insights.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies.
Maintain accurate records of all interactions with prospects in the CRM system.
Provide regular reports on lead generation activities and outcomes to management.
Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitive landscape.
Attend training sessions and workshops to improve sales skills and techniques.
Qualifications
Technical skills:
Skilled in initiating conversations via cold calling and handling objections effectively.
Ability to qualify leads and set revenue-generating meetings.
Crafting persuasive, personalized email sequences for outreach.
Understanding of A/B testing and optimization for engagement.
Hands-on experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms for lead tracking and pipeline management.
Competence in maintaining accurate records and reporting metrics.
Ability to research and identify key decision-makers within target accounts.
Developing multi-touch strategies to engage stakeholders across channels.
Ability to use dashboards and analytics tools for performance tracking.
Soft skills:
Personable and engaging over the phone.
Native-level English proficiency.
Strong process adherence and ability to close consistently.
Willingness to innovate and try new approaches.
Persistence and resilience in handling objections.
Bonus skills:
Leveraging AI-driven platforms for prospect list generation and personalized messaging.
Familiarity with automation tools to streamline outreach processes.
Basic understanding of interpreting engagement metrics to refine outreach strategies.
