We seek an Senior/Staff Full Stack Engineer capable of working across the stack—from developing new React dashboard pages, setting up Django APIs, to building LLM-powered analytics tools. The ideal candidate is excited about integrating multiple systems and has a strong focus on UX and design.
As part of Upside, you’ll join an impact-driven team, contributing to our customer dashboard and backend services. You’ll ship new features quickly, launch new workflows within the first month, and help shape our architecture and best practices long-term.
What You'll Do
- Build : Develop and deploy critical features on our customer dashboard
- Own : Lead architecture and design of our tech stack for long-term scalability
- Learn : Build data-intensive AI applications and deploy LLMs at scale
- Mentor : Share best practices for full stack development and testing with team members
- Collaborate : Work with the team to develop data-rich functionalities, including reporting systems and LLM analysis agents
- Engage daily with founders and team members to advance company goals
- Focus on results over effort, emphasizing outcome-driven work
- In-person collaboration is valued; SF Bay Area residents are expected in the office most days, others will visit regularly

Required Skills
- Senior or equivalent experience in a technical role
- Extensive experience with data-heavy React frontends
- Proven ability to ship production features quickly
- Experience with responsible LLM-assisted development
- Bonus: Django and Python experience
