Why are we hiring this role?As UpGuard continues to scale at a rapid rate, we’re now looking for a Frontend Developer to join our growing Marketing team.
What will you accomplish?
- Work with a cross-functional Growth Marketing squad focused on shipping high-impact growth campaigns.
- Take campaign specifications and collaborate with web designers and copywriters to produce digital outcomes that will achieve the team's objectives.
- Build out HTML/CSS solutions directly in Webflow.
- Implement bespoke design, layouts, and animations in custom code.
- Work with the broader design team to meet our style and quality standards and support this with technical design system implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to incorporate feedback and suggestions.
- Manage integrations with the broader marketing stack including CMS, booking & email platforms.
What we're looking for?
- Proven track record of leading web design projects in cross functional teams.
- Strong experience in UX design methodologies, design patterns, and design systems.
- Design thinking skills and the ability to positively critique design.
- Strong experience in collaborative design software such as Figma.
- Exceptional knowledge of HTML, CSS, and frontend Javascript frameworks.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills.
- Proven ability to adapt in a fast paced startup environment.
What will give you an edge?
- A portfolio of projects that highlights your eye for design. Bonus points if you keep a design swipe file.
- Strong experience coding with frontend JavaScript frameworks (and/or vanilla DOM APIs) to create bespoke interactive web experiences.
- An interest in motion design and web-based motion and animation libraries.
