What will you accomplish?
- As a trusted advisor to your stakeholders, you will push the boundaries of conventional thinking to craft optimal people strategies that foster personal and organizational growth in a fully remote environment. Your primary duties will include:
- You’ll provide broad and comprehensive support to our North American team, addressing day-to-day HR inquiries, leveraging your expertise in employment practices, and embodying the essence of the Upguard culture to cultivate a thriving workplace for all UpGuardians.
- Collaborating closely with our global People Team you will develop and implement initiatives that enrich our renowned culture, ensuring a cohesive team member journey that is people-centric, brand-aligned, and geared toward achieving strategic objectives.
- Supporting the flawless execution of local and company-wide programs, encompassing performance rituals, learning initiatives, well-being practices, and engagement strategies, and contributing to organizational planning, design, and compliance efforts.
- Caring passionately, and advocating for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, you’ll intentionally build this into everything that you create.
What do we need from you?
- 3-5 years of diverse HR experience within the mid-sized SaaS/Tech sector, preferably with exposure to international workforces.
- Experience in building and facilitating learning programs to support skills development and leadership capability.
- Exceptional communication skills, adept at both synchronous and asynchronous channels, coupled with a proven ability to influence diverse audiences.
- A collaborative team player with a penchant for action and adaptability in navigating fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Proficiency in process optimization and a track record of driving efficiencies within HR functions.
- Strong familiarity with modern HR technology stacks, with preference given to candidates experienced in BambooHR, Rippling, Small Improvements, or Lever.
- Proficiency in project management and a demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives.

- Generous compensation: The salary range for this role is between $95,000 and $105,000. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
