Our Operations function consists of the IT Legal, People, Finance and Analytics teams. We are here to be a key enabler to our other teams at UpGuard. This is an opportunity for a proactive, adaptable and resourceful individual to join a scaling company in an exciting space. Ultimately, you will contribute to the efficiency of our entire business by providing end-to-end project management across a range of exciting programs.

Why are we hiring for this role?

  • We're seeking a results-oriented Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives and deliver exceptional results for our internal teams.

What will you accomplish?

  • Lead the end-to-end management across a range of projects including but not limited to the evaluation and implementation of SaaS tools, ensuring timely delivery within scope, and budget, and meeting the goals of the business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, people and culture, analytics, revenue and marketing to define project objectives, requirements, and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and managing risks effectively.
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Be the primary point of contact for meetings, managing expectations and fostering strong relationships.
  • Conduct post-project debrief reviews to evaluate project performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lessons learned from past projects to optimize processes.

What do we need from you?

  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders and internal teams
  • Exceptional prioritization skills and a detail-oriented approach
  • Be energized by hard problems and working in a fast-paced environment

What will give you an edge?

  • Experience or a keen interest in cybersecurity
  • Proven experience in negotiation and procurement of vendors
  • Experience in developing Standard Operating Procedures
  • Experience being a part of a company’s journey from 100 to 1000+ people
