The Role:

You’ll have the opportunity to join the production team of passionate professionals working flexibly to write and edit content for Twinkl’s emerging Chile market. This team will create a wide range of resources for use in children from preschool to 6th grade of basic education. This will include PowerPoints, display materials, activity sheets, assessments and lesson plans lessons. For this role, the majority of your time will be spent creating content for all ages in 4 and 12 years old.

Este equipo crea una amplia gama de recursos para su uso en niños y niñas desde preescolar hasta 6º básico. Esto incluirá PowerPoints, materiales de exposición, hojas de actividades, evaluaciones y planificaciones. Para este rol, la mayor parte de su tiempo se dedicará a la creación de contenidos para todas las edades entre 4 y 12 años.

How you will spend your week:

• Meeting with other Twinkl writers or the Chile Country Manager to discuss new ideas;
• Writing content for the Chilean market;
• Writing Lesson Plans for Educación Parvularia y Educación Básica
• Reviewing Lesson Plans and applying adjustments according to DUA.
• Developing new product ideas with the Chile Country Manager.

Chile is a rapidly growing market for Twinkl. You will have the creative freedom to shape the content we offer to our customers. We are looking for teachers with in-depth knowledge of Lesson Plans and Assessments, ideally for Educación Parvularia.

Our ideal candidate will be going further than writing content by suggesting new product ideas, identifying needs in the Chilean teaching community, sharing their experiences and expertise with others. It is an exciting time for this market. The successful candidate will be vital in ensuring that these ambitious plans for Chile become a reality.

This is a work-from-home, flexible position, and hours can be agreed upon between you and your line manager to fit around your current commitments. Ideally the candidate is expected to be able to complete the hours between monday to friday, leaving some hours for the weekend. Also consider that there are 15-minute planning meetings in the morning, which you should attend at least two each week. Once a month there is a review meeting which lasts 45 minutes in the morning (Chilean time).

• Escribiendo contenido para el mercado chileno;
• Desarrollando Planificaciones para Educación Parvularia y Educación Básica.
• Revisando Planificaciones y aplicando ajustes de acuerdo al DUA.
• Desarrollando nuevas ideas de productos con el Country Manager de Chile.

Nuestro candidato ideal irá más allá de escribir contenidos, sugiriendo nuevas ideas de productos, identificando necesidades en la comunidad docente chilena, compartiendo sus experiencias y conocimientos con otros. Es un momento emocionante para este mercado por lo que la o el candidato seleccionado será vital para garantizar que estos ambiciosos planes para Chile se hagan realidad.

Se trata de un puesto flexible de trabajo desde casa, en el que el horario puede acordarse entre el candidato y su superior para adaptarlo a sus compromisos actuales. Lo ideal es que el candidato pueda completar el horario de lunes a viernes, dejando algunas horas para el fin de semana. Tenga en cuenta también que hay reuniones de planificación de 15 minutos por la mañana, a las que debería asistir al menos dos veces por semana. Una vez al mes hay una reunión de revisión que dura 45 minutos en la mañana (hora chilena).

In this role, you will learn:

• How to create new teacher content for with our Chilean team, from ideation stage to publication on the site;

• Remote collaboration, working closely with team members across this market;
• How to develop greater commercial awareness so we can understand the needs of those we want to help.

Requirements

To succeed in the role, you will:

• Be a fantastic communicator who thrives when working in a close-knit team;
• Be focused on collaboration, using feedback to make our resources the best they can be;
• Have detailed knowledge of the Bases Curriculares de Educación Parvularia and the Curriculum Mineduc from 1°básico to 6° básico;
• Have experience in developing tests and evaluation instruments from scratch;
• Have experience in developing full plans lesson for Educacion Parvularia.
• Have an excellent understanding of the needs of teachers in Educación Parvularia, Educación Básica and Educación Diferencial and support staff delivering learning within the classroom or at home.

• Tener conocimiento detallado de las Bases Curriculares de Educación Parvularia y del Currículum Mineduc de 1°básico a 6° básico;
• Tener experiencia en la elaboración de pruebas e instrumentos de evaluación desde cero;
• Tener experiencia en el desarrollo de planificacions para Educación Parvularia.
• Tener una excelente comprensión de las necesidades de los profesores de Educación Parvularia, Educación Básica y Educación Diferencial y del personal de apoyo que imparte aprendizaje dentro del aula o en el hogar.

We’re are especially interested in anyone who also meets one, or a combination of the following:

• Qualifications: Profesor de Educación Diferencial, Profesor de Educación Básica, Educadora de Párvulosor related careers with experience in curriculum adaptation DUA
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years classroom experience, currently teaching or classroom teaching within the last 12 months.
