About the Role

Our client, a large global company that deals with sports, culture, events, and media is seeking a talented freelance composer to contribute to their upcoming project. This ambitious project aims to create a dramatic light trail that will mesmerise audiences with a blend of visual artistry and musical compositions.

Responsibilities:

1. Compose a dramatic interpretation of a classic Christmas song that will complement and enhance the visual elements of the light trail experience.
2. Collaborate closely with the creative team to ensure seamless integration of the musical composition with the overall artistic vision and technical requirements of the project.
3. Provide multiple iterations and revisions of the composition as needed, incorporating feedback from the creative team.
4. Deliver the final composition in the required format and specifications by the agreed-upon deadline.
5. Maintain open communication with the project team throughout the duration of the engagement.

Requirements

1. Proven experience in composing original music for multimedia projects, installations, or live events.
2. Excellent understanding of musical composition, orchestration, and sound design techniques.
3. Proficiency in using industry-standard music production software and digital audio workstations (DAWs).
4. Strong artistic vision and the ability to interpret creative briefs effectively.
5. Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work remotely as part of a creative team.
