About the Role

We are seeking a 2D Animator with expertise in 2D animation and custom character creation for a company focusing on creating engaging YouTube animations for kids.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Breathe life into pre-designed characters through 2D animation techniques.
• Create engaging and expressive character animations for our kids' YouTube channel.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand the desired character personalities and movements.
• Ensure consistent animation quality across all characters and projects.
• Adhere to established character designs and style guides.
• Deliver final animation files in the required formats and specifications.
• Maintain open communication and responsiveness throughout the project timeline.

Requirements

• Beginner to mid-level experience in 2D character animation and rigging.
• Proficiency in industry-standard 2D animation software (e.g., Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or similar).
• Strong understanding of animation principles, such as timing, squash and stretch, anticipation, and follow-through.
• Ability to create expressive and engaging character animations suitable for kids' content.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote freelance capacity.
