REMOTE Business Development Representative – Outbound Hunter | Fast-Track to Account Executive
Location: Remote – Must be based in CT or ET time zones
Salary $70,000 - $75,000 Base + Uncapped Commissions (1st yr. OTE: $100K+)
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Holidays
Job Type: Full time
Work Hours: Mon-Fri; 40 hrs.
Travel: 2-4x per yr. to Conferences {Domestic}

REMOTE Business Development Representative Description

Our client in the financial consulting industry is seeking a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their growing sales team. In this role, you will generate qualified opportunities through high-volume outbound calling, engaging business owners and decision-makers to uncover needs and build a pipeline. As the first point of contact in the sales process, you will build relationships, conduct discovery conversations, and support opportunities through proposal development and close alongside senior sales leadership. This is not a traditional appointment-setting role — you will gain direct exposure to the full sales cycle with a clear path to promotion into a full-cycle Account Executive role, often within 18 months, based on performance. The ideal candidate is personable, self-motivated, and energized by outbound prospecting. You should be confident engaging decision-makers, skilled at uncovering customer needs, and excited to grow within a high-performance sales environment.

REMOTE Business Development Representative Responsibilities

  • Generate new sales opportunities and add qualified leads to the sales funnel
    • Leverage warm pipeline from marketing campaigns
    • Contact potential leads via phone to generate interest
    • Conduct discovery conversations with business owners and decision-makers
    • Support opportunities through discovery, proposal development, and close
    • Maintain CRM accuracy and manage pipeline activity
    • Help refine outreach strategy and sales processes
    • Consistently meet activity and pipeline generation goals
    • Attend industry events to represent company and build relationships

REMOTE Business Development Representative Qualifications

  • High-volume B2B outbound sales or prospecting experience required
    • Experience prospecting into the trade, construction, or home services industries required
    • Hands-on experience using a CRM system to manage pipeline and track activity required
    • Demonstrated drive and long-term commitment to building a career in sales required
