Location: Indianapolis, IN (NE Indianapolis near Fort Harrison Park)
Salary: $90,000-$100,000 + Straight Pay + Bonus Potential
Straight Pay: Typically, an additional $10,000-$15,000/year

[HYBRID] Controls Engineer (controls engineering exp. req.) Description
Our client, a project-based automation company, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team in Indianapolis. In this role, you'll take on a range of responsibilities including programming, debugging, commissioning, and electrical hardware design. You’ll work hands-on with an array of technologies including PLCs, robotics, vision systems, VFDs, servos, and field I/O wiring. [HYBRID] Controls Engineer (controls engineering exp. req.) Responsibilities
- Design electrical hardware
• Program controls systems
- Setup, configure, and troubleshoot systems
• Serve as the lead engineer for projects
• Review schematics with customers and provide guidance
• Communicate cross-functionally to ensure project deliverables
• Write and edit software code for machines and systems
• Complete project documentation
• Pursue continued education for automation equipment
• Travel to clients to provide installation, testing, and support

- Minimum 2 years of controls engineering experience required
• PLC programming experience required
