What are you going to do?
You will have the opportunity to work in the world's largest payment processor company that supports the payment card processing and point-of-sale needs of hundreds of thousands of merchants around the globe.
Occupy a unique position in the market, by playing a critical role in ensuring the successful adaptation of our software for the target market, overseeing the management of source files, and facilitating smooth handoffs between translators and engineers.
- Coordinate the translation and localization process for the software launch, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and deadline requirements.
- Manage source files and version control systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the localization process.
- Collaborate closely with translators, editors, and localization engineers to facilitate efficient handoffs and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines, tracking progress and proactively identifying and addressing potential delays or roadblocks.
- Conduct regular reviews of translated content to ensure linguistic accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and quality assurance teams, to ensure alignment and smooth integration of localized content.
- Coordinate with external localization vendors and freelancers as needed, providing clear instructions and feedback to ensure high-quality results.
- Perform quality assurance checks on localized software builds, identifying and addressing any localization-related issues or bugs.
- Document and maintain localization processes, best practices, and lessons learned for future reference and continuous improvement.
What will help you succeed
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills (English & Dutch)
- Familiarity with Mac, Google shared docs and sheets, annotating screenshots, Adobe Acrobat Reader/Writer, Atom text editor, jira, screenshotting, Smartling translation platform
- Annotating screenshots

- Knowing how to handle text strings, identify text from strings ID’s in xml, javascript, .properties, json file formats; knowing how to work with variables/placeholders in text strings
- Familiarity with JIRA or other bug-tracking
- Familiarity with software release cycles and Agile development
- Familiarity with translation platforms and language technology tools is advantageous - (CAT tools) such as SDL Trados, XTM, Idiom, Lilt, Smartling
