Our Client is is a design marketplace, connecting customers with the world’s best artists to create unique, high-quality products. We are building a small, fast-moving 0-to-1 team to leverage AI and early-stage startup approaches to develop and ship innovative experiences across all product surfaces

Job Summary

We are looking for senior engineering contractors to work on Minted’s Online Invitations platform. Ideal candidates will be experienced in React, with bonus points for Typescript or Redux. If candidates are full-stack and are comfortable working in Python/Django, that is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new features within our React (frontend) and Django (backend) application stack, ensuring high code quality and adherence to best practices.

• Collaborate effectively with the existing engineering team on feature design, technical specifications, and code reviews.

• Work independently to deliver assigned tasks and features, taking ownership from conception to deployment.

• Communicate technical concepts and progress clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and application architecture.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on frontend development.

• Proficiency in React for building dynamic and scalable user interfaces.

• Experience with TypeScript and Redux is a strong plus.

• Experience working in a Python/Django backend environment is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, startup-like environments.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven experience working independently and taking full ownership of features from design to deployment.

• Familiarity with best practices in software development, including testing, code review, and continuous integration.
