We have an immediate opening in our Monmouth Junction, NJ headquarters for a Care Coordinator, Specialty Pharmacy
Qualified candidate will have experience providing phone support to patients and caregivers to aid them in navigating the prescription Rx insurance/financial assistance landscape, answer questions/inquiries and assist in the removal of barriers, where appropriate, to gain access to Tris product(s). She/he will also work closely with specialty pharmacy to ensure availability and seamless and timely processing of prescriptions.
Responsibilities:
- Support caregivers and patients with questions and concerns regarding complex diseases supported by Tris product(s)
- Work with specialty pharmacy to ensure patients receive prescriptions in a timely manner
- Help patients and caregivers navigate prescription insurance
- Work with patients to determine eligibility for financial assistance
- Work with charitable patient foundations and patient advocacy groups to highlight our products and gain support and additional resources for our patients
Requirements:
- High school diploma and minimum 4 years case management, medical insurance, patient advocacy/assistance or related experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare or related industry
- Experience navigating treatment for rare and/or complex diseases
- Excellent phone demeanor and client service focus
- Working knowledge of the US prescription benefits industry
- Knowledge of Financial assistance programs in the US pharmaceutical industry
- Experience working with specialty pharmacies
- Excellent ability to maintain compliance and confidentiality and to adhere to all legal, ethical and accreditation/regulatory standards
- Experience working in a start-up environment is a PLUS
- Ability to travel periodically to conferences, as needed
We offer work from home potential but may require candidates to be able to come into office multiple times a month, or as needed.
Anticipated salary range: $100 - 155. Base salary offered is contingent on assessment of candidate’s education and experience level relative to requirements of the position and a review of related industry standards and internal equity.
