We believe that the therapeutic alliance – the relationship between a patient and their therapist – is the best predictor of strong outcomes in therapy. This is why matching is at the heart of our clinical model.

The median quality of therapy in the U.S. often doesn't align with research or evidence-based practices, and frequently doesn't utilize measurement-based care. Two Chairs is committed to changing this by employing an industry-leading measurement-based care system to facilitate faster patient improvement. We collect data from patients before every session and share insights with both the patient and the therapist to inform clinical decisions and track progress. This data-driven approach, combined with our W2 employment model for therapists, allows us to invest deeply in clinical programming and technology, ensuring our clinicians are well-trained and can adjust their approaches to provide the best possible care. We offer a hybrid care model, combining the convenience of virtual therapy with the depth of in-person sessions in select locations, giving patients the flexibility to choose how they engage with their mental health care.
