This position reports to our global HQ in Cambridge, MA and is fully remote within the US. Travel is expected when needed.

Who we are looking for:
Our customer base, networks, and product offerings are growing rapidly, and we are expanding with the hiring of a senior level Project Manager to manage projects in the Insights and Evidence Generation (IEG) team’s portfolio. Successful candidates will have a deep understanding of the project management frameworks, extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, and experience building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
What you will be doing:
- Support a rapidly growing team with project management expertise
- Manage all operational aspects of assigned projects in coordination with project leadership
- Implement post-award project management best practices and standard operating procedures
- Lead the projects’ scientific teams in fulfilling contractual obligations
- Establish best practices for short- and long-term project planning for IEG projects, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, and coordinating internal and external resources to successfully implement projects
- Ensure completion of on-time, high quality deliverables to achieve targeted project outcomes/ milestones
- Use influencing skills to accomplish program or project goals through people over whom the incumbent has no direct control
- Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
- Communicate with senior leadership team to keep the projects aligned with enterprise strategic goals
- Examples of day-to day responsibilities include:
- Create and execute project work plans
- Create, review, and monitor project timeline and invoicing
- Identify project status issues and risks, and determine mitigation strategies
- Execute consultant agreements and subcontracting arrangements, as required
- Record, distribute and track actions and decisions for weekly project meetings
- Utilize tools including: Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, Slack, Zoom, SharePoint, Salesforce, and Certinia/FinancialForce
- Support and evolve internal processes for pre-award activities including proposal scoping and budgeting as needed
What you bring to TriNetX:
- 6+ years of project management experience, with 3+ years independently managing projects
- Knowledge of various project management methodologies
- Proven leadership, problem solving, and time management skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Experience with client interactions and customer service
- Ability to prioritize and make important decisions under pressure
- Ability to delegate effectively
- Friendly and approachable
- Ability to manage large and diverse teams
Bonus points:
Knowledge of outcomes research strongly preferred
Experience working with healthcare industry clients (pharma) and/or with healthcare data strongly preferred
Background in epidemiology or other health sciences field is a plus
PMP certification is a plus
