This position is 100% remote, with the understanding that occasional in-person attendance may be required for trainings, meetings, and team gatherings, as determined by your manager.
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines for analytics and machine learning workloads.
Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of data workflows.
Implement data ingestion from internal and external sources.
Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts to prepare datasets for modeling and analysis.
Build and maintain Databricks-based data pipelines and workflows.
Monitor, debug, and improve data pipeline performance and platform efficiency.
Develop tools and frameworks to automate data operations and ensure data quality.
Work with product and engineering teams to translate data requirements into solutions.
Participate in code reviews and follow data engineering best practices.
Maintain documentation and contribute to improving data engineering standards and tooling.
Requirements:
2–4 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or a related field.
Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and transformation.
Experience working with Databricks, Spark, or similar distributed data processing platforms.
Familiarity with data ingestion from APIs, databases, or cloud storage systems.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data quality practices.
Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to work collaboratively with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Engineers.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
