Job Description

Our Inbound Customer Sales Representatives are the first point of contact with prospective customers and existing members who want to purchase, enquire about or amend their NRMA Roadside Assistance membership.       

Your primary focus will be to ask effective questions to identify customer needs and offer appropriate solutions that will add value to our members' lifestyles. You will seek to engage customers in conversation and create a memorable experience by connecting with members through positive energy, empathy and a passion to help others.         

Our contact centre is a great place to grow your knowledge and skills which can help you expand your career further at the NRMA.  

What you need to know:

We are looking for full-time employees to work 35 hours per week on a rotational roster between the hours of 8am-6pm, Monday to Sunday. This is a hybrid working environment, primarily working remotely from home but also with a commitment to work from our Sydney and Central Coast offices as directed. The start date for this position is the 30th of June.

What You’ll Bring

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high volume call centre environment

  • High level of resilience and the ability to persevere through challenges with a 'can do’ attitude  

  • Ability to remain calm and focused when under pressure whilst always demonstrating empathy and understanding to our customers    

  • Comfortable working autonomously as part of a hybrid Sales team within a rostered contact centre  

  • Effective listening and communication skills to be able to determine the customer’s needs

  • Initiative to be able to support the customer with product suggestions to address their needs     

  • Confidence in working with KPIs and targets in our customer needs-based inbound sales environment    

  • Strong computer literacy skills including being able to navigate multiple product and customer systems with proven accuracy and attention to detail     

  • Excellent team working skills where support and respect for your colleagues is valued
