  • Partner with Finance, Operations, and Compliance to ensure holistic process and data integrity across the value chain.

Backlog & Delivery Management

  • Collaborate with technical product owners to prioritize the full technical backlog, including non-functional requirements, platform maintenance, and technical debt.

  • Translate business objectives into actionable technical requirements and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Articulate complex technical concepts in clear business language for leaders and stakeholders.

  • Act as a bridge between business product managers and technical delivery teams to define and refine functional and technical specifications.

Technical Guidance & Architecture Alignment

  • Drive high‑level decisions related to architecture, infrastructure, and system design feasibility.

  • Partner with engineering teams to support custom development that complements standard SAP functionality.

Team Leadership & Coaching

  • Mentor and guide product owners and development teams to ensure alignment, collaboration, and delivery quality.

  • Champion standardization, continuous improvement, and best practices across the SAP SD and Commerce Cloud landscape.

Operational Excellence

  • Partner with Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure readiness across data, process, compliance, and change management for all releases.

  • Serve as a senior escalation point for complex or systemic production issues, leading root cause analysis and long‑term remediation planning.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 10+ years plus of hands‑on experience with SAP Order to Cash, including at least 5 years plus with S/4HANA.

  • Deep functional and technical expertise in SD areas such as sales order management, pricing/taxation, contracts, billing, returns, credit/debit processing, delivery scheduling, ATP, intercompany/third‑party scenarios, MTO/STO, logistics execution, and EDI/IDoc processing.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP SD and Commerce Cloud integrations, ensuring reliable orchestration of order capture, pricing, availability, and customer data across platforms.

  • Broad integration experience across EDI, IDocs, and cross‑module SAP environments.

Preferred

  • Experience in pharmaceutical distribution, life sciences, or other regulated industries.

  • Deep understanding of SAP SD integrations with PTP, FICO, Vistex, and EWM.

  • Experience supporting large‑scale implementations, migrations, or enterprise transformation programs.
